Here we have a shale band coinciding spot on with final floor level at the base of the main access shaft and H-Section area at the Wilson Road tunnelling site at West Pennant Hills. This has proven challenging for the roadheader development of this area and for the preparation of the site for operation of 4 No. Sandvik 520 roadheaders at full production. The floor is currently being concreted which will allow for roadheader excavation works to come into full swing early April 2017, along with the commissioning of the vertical spoil conveyor…..more updates coming soon.
